Job Summary:

The Full-Time Territory Representative is an hourly role that specializes in-store Assisted Sales for our client LG Home Appliances. You must possess a strong passion for success, an abundance of energy looking to build a future and a long-term career. You should self-motivated, goal oriented and a team player ready to learn and grow as a member of the MarketSource team. You must be able to comfortably approach and talk with shoppers educating on the benefits and demoing LG vacuum products. You must be willing to create an enjoyable sales conversations and create a positive customer buying experience. In addition, you need to maintain accurate execution of product placement and visual presence.

Essential Functions:

  • Consistently attain or exceed monthly sales goals

  • Communicates daily with the Program Manager

  • Conducts in-store data gathering through call reports

  • Travels within territory to assigned retailer locations

  • Develops and facilitate product training sessions for the retailers on regularly-scheduled intervals

  • Collaborates on a regular basis with the team regarding the latest information on promotions, incentives, performance, competitive updates

  • Maintains awareness individual store performance

  • Presents product features directly to in-store customers

  • Proactively conducts retail associate trainings as the LG Vacuum subject matter expert

  • Supports the Program Leaders on special projects and related tasks when need

  • Expected to foster and maintain effective relationships with store leadership, and associates

  • Must possess the ability to work with a high level of autonomy, a self- motivated individual with a strong work ethic who can excel with limited supervision and/or instruction

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • 1-2 years minimum experience customer facing retail sales.

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

  • Confidence engaging customers and associates in a national retail environment

  • Must be using a web enabled device (smartphone or tablet) with iOS 11.6.1 or Android 9 (or higher) with an active data plan

  • Proven track record of being successful attaining sales objectives

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written

  • Access to internet for email correspondence and report submissions

  • Professional image and approach to business

  • Friendly demeanor, approachable, energetic, goal oriented

  • Ability to self-train on client product(s), quick learner

  • Possess a high degree of initiative, and exhibit a high level of creativity

  • Positive, flexible, and focused, with an emphasis on a can do, hands on approach

  • Requires recognizing, identifying and using products and necessary directives to complete visits

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing and moving items

  • Requires the ability to move around the store, assist customers and maneuver merchandise when necessary

  • Performs additional job duties as assigned

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds independently
